Job summary

BELFOR USA Group, Inc is seeking an Estimator to join our estimating track at level 2, following new hire training. You will create and manage estimates for residential, commercial, and industrial losses, meeting with clients and using Xactimate to produce competitive bids.

You will review budgets, track costs, and communicate progress with clients and management, while maintaining schedules and adhering to BELFOR standards and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• English literacy and fluency.
• Understanding of MSDS Data sheets, and applicability to jobs.
• Must use the BELFOR Estimate Format Standards for Xactimate estimates, proposals, etc.
• Extensive Customer Service experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Offices skills, experience with Xactimate.
• Professional demeanor and appearance, excellent telephone skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain local area clientele; refer losses to insurance adjusters and local businesses.
• Create accurate floor plans in Xactimate Sketch.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable building codes.
• Create and adhere to budgets; address overages as they present themselves.
• Use BELFOR naming convention for estimates, proposals, change orders, etc.
• Demonstrate knowledge of local building codes.
• Maintain construction schedule and coordinate with trades and management to complete on time.
• Demonstrate proficiency with containment, decontamination, mitigation and deodorization techniques.
• Participate in BELFOR University training and obtain Xactimate certification as role requires.
• Independently manage own work and maintain vehicle safety.
