Job summary

Jobot in Wisconsin is seeking an Experienced Estimator to join our national earthwork contractor team. With over 100 years in the industry, we offer a robust compensation package and opportunity to work on premier sitework projects.

You will analyze plans, estimate materials, labor and equipment, prepare bid proposals, negotiate with subs and suppliers, and monitor costs to keep projects on budget. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off, plus a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating in a relevant field.
• Strong cost control knowledge in construction estimating.
• Familiar with construction management and project management processes.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specs, and contracts.

• Proficient in estimating software and related tools.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Analyze construction plans and specifications to determine project requirements.

• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop accurate cost estimates.
• Prepare detailed and comprehensive bid proposals for potential clients.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor project costs throughout the construction process to ensure adherence to budget.
• Review and analyze change orders and provide cost impact assessments.

Salary: $110,000 - $150,000 per year
