Job summary

Jobot, a long-standing general contractor in Boise, Idaho, seeks an Estimator to join our rapidly growing construction practice. You will prepare detailed cost estimates, perform Material Take Offs, and collaborate closely with PMs and engineers to keep budgets competitive.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in construction estimation, strong leadership, sharp analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with estimation software. A Construction Management or Engineering degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on project estimation and cost analysis.
• Proven experience in Material Take Off (MTO), with a strong understanding of construction materials and their costs.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to lead and mentor a team.
• Excellent analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present and explain complex information to a variety of audiences.
• Proficiency in construction estimation software and tools.
• A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities
