Job summary

DH Pace Company, Inc. is seeking an Estimator to join our Olathe, KS office. The Estimator prepares accurate, timely bids for commercial/industrial door and loading dock systems, supporting the sales team to drive profitable projects and strong relationships with customers.

Knowledge of construction or building materials is preferred. The role requires frequent use of estimating software and strong attention to detail, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum two years in commercial door/dock work or equivalent commercial estimating experience.
Experience with blueprints or specs is highly desired.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good verbal and written communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and prepare accurate, timely bids for commercial/industrial door and loading dock systems.
Support sales staff to ensure profitable sales and strong customer relationships.
Learn and follow DH Pace estimating processes and software.
Educate sales on product options and assist in selections.
Generate project cost estimates and proposals for review.
