Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Estimator for our DC office with experience in general commercial construction or large industrial projects. Applicants should be adept at estimating projects from $5M to $50M, both new construction and renovations, and be ready to grow with a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of estimating experience.
• Experience estimating projects valued from $5M-$50M.
• Experience working in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Estimate multiple divisions across projects.
• Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers; review subcontracts and markups.
• Collaborate with Pre-Construction staff to advise on issues and ensure scope coverage.
• Work within a team to drive project success.
• Support leadership in project planning and bidding.

Job Details

• 5+ years of experience
• Well versed in estimating multiple divisions
• Experience working within a team

• Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers, review subcontractor agreements and mark ups
• Work along side Pre-Construction staff to advise on issues and ensure scope coverage
