Job summary

The Haskell Company is seeking a seasoned estimating leader to manage Estimating personnel and develop accurate, detailed cost estimates for diverse construction projects. You will help develop preconstruction standards, participate in bid strategy, and work closely with designers, clients, and operations to optimize cost and value.

Ideal candidates will have a BS in Engineering or Construction Management and at least 5 years of estimating experience, with expertise in HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent and 5 years estimating experience.
• Experience with HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Suppression estimation.
• Strong leadership, mentoring and communication skills.
• Ability to identify project risk and develop mitigation strategies.
• Strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and market partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage Estimating personnel and oversee development of detailed construction cost estimates.
• Develop and maintain preconstruction standards, processes, and tools.
• Prepare bid packages and conduct bid leveling analyses.
• Identify risks and contribute to the Risk Register.
• Support proposal win strategy and client presentations.
• Collaborate with design teams, clients, and operations on cost drives and value.
