Job summary

Haskell is seeking a seasoned estimating leader to manage Estimating personnel and develop detailed, accurate cost estimates for preconstruction. The role drives preconstruction standards and collaborates with design teams and clients to align on scope, budgets, and risk management.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Construction Management or equivalent with 5 years of estimating experience, and experience with CMAR/Design-Build delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manages Estimating personnel.
• Develops and ensures utilization of the Preconstruction processes, standards and tools.
• Develops accurate, detailed cost estimates and reviews other Team Member's estimates.
• Develops associated scope of work clarifications and requests for information (RFI's).
• Develops market bid leveling analysis documents.
• Reviews and recommends responsible bidders from bid leveling analysis documents.
• Develops project construction budgets.
• Develops, maintains Preconstruction software and historical costs.
• Identifies risk items and works on the Risk Register Development.
• Participates in proposal win strategy and presentation.
• Contributes to cost savings exercises.
• Works on the development of bid packages.
• Contributes to coordination and participation in Preconstruction-Operations Turnover Meetings.
• Works on Subcontractor and Vendor solicitations and relationships.
• Works on project procurement and buyout.
• Collaborates with Preconstruction Leadership, designers and clients, and the project operations team.
• Follows project construction costs and market trends.
• Travel up to 10% as required.
