WSP Global Inc. in Portland, OR is seeking an ESSP Electrical Engineer to join the Portland office. The role supports protective relaying, power system planning, and design studies across conventional and renewable generation, substations, and transmission projects.

You will work with the ESSP Team, perform analyses, write technical reports, and collaborate with project managers to deliver compliant, safe, and reliable electrical systems. Relocation assistance is not available.

Formación

• ABET-accredited university degree: BSEE, BSEET, or BSCE.
• 3–5 years of industry experience in design or device configuration.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering principles and power systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication, team collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Perform electrical studies and system protection tasks.
• Assist with protection relay settings, coordination, and NERC compliance.
• Support power system planning studies and voltage stability analysis.
• Prepare technical reports and drawings documenting findings.
• Collaborate with project managers and field staff as needed.
