Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking an ESSP Electrical Engineer for our Hailey, ID office to contribute to the ESSP Team on power delivery projects. You will perform electrical studies, SCADA, and protection tasks across generation, substations, and transmission systems.

The role requires a strong foundation in three-phase power, protective relaying, and power system analysis, with opportunity to specialize and travel to project sites as needed. Relocation not provided.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited electrical engineering degree (BSEE/BSEET/BSCe)
• 3–5 years design or device configuration experience
• Fundamental understanding of three-phase power and power system fundamentals
• Ability to work independently or in a team and travel as needed

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical studies, SCADA, and system protection tasks
• Assist with protection scheme development and relay settings calculations
• Contribute to power system planning studies and dynamic stability analyses
• Prepare technical reports and documentation
• Coordinate field/site work and project deliverables
• Travel to project sites to support commissioning and testing
