Job summary

Massachusetts Bay Community College is seeking an Assistant Esports Coach to support the MassBay esports program. The role involves assisting with planning, scheduling, and executing practices, matches, and tournaments for a student-driven varsity team.

You will help with facility and equipment management, livestream production, and promoting events across MassBay platforms. This is a part-time, non-unit position with no benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in gaming/esports.
• Recruiting experience is a plus.
• Comfort with online communities and event management.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination, and execution of esports practices, matches, and tournaments.
• Assist with scheduling, communication, and logistics for MassBay esports team events.
• Help manage esports facilities, equipment, and game platforms (PCs/consoles).
• Contribute to livestream production and broadcasts (setup, OBS, Twitch).
• Assist with social media content and digital engagement for esports events.
