Crawford Electric Supply in North/Central Arkansas is seeking an Automation Specialist to accelerate growth in automation and software-related solutions, including programmable controllers, I/O, safety systems, industrial computers, and plant maintenance software. You will provide technical, marketing, and commercial leadership to drive sales in your territory and support the commercial plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent combination skills, experience, or education.
• 5 years' experience with Rockwell Automation’s products and applications or equivalent experience.
• Strong written, presentation and English communication skills with the ability to present to groups.
• Willingness to continuously learn and improve technical competency.

Responsabilités

• Articulate the value of Rockwell’s portfolio to all customer levels.
• Lead the portfolio offerings as the key driver and business leader.
• Input to annual planning, forecasting, and drive growth in the assigned geography.
• Lead the commercial introduction of new products and services, set business goals, identify targets, drive marketing, and coordinate sales engagement.
• Provide training to distributor account managers for core products.
• Consult with customers on proposals and pricing strategies.
• Advise customers on installation and configuration of core products and modernizations.
• Collaborate with Crawford Electric Support and Rockwell sales teams to sell core products.
• Provide pre-sale and post-sale support.
• Translate market trends into customer solutions and build trusted customer relationships.
• Develop account and territory plans, campaigns, and commercial programs.
• Interface with Rockwell Business Units to provide market intelligence and feedback.
• Develop marketing/sales collateral relevant to the market.
• Lead customer-facing technical events and respond to requests, including outside business hours.
• Travel within geography including overnight and to training/events up to two weeks annually.
• Adhere to Sonepar, Crawford Electric Support, and Rockwell policies.
