Job summary

Crawford Electric Supply, part of the Sonepar group, seeks an Automation Specialist to drive Rockwell-based offerings across North/Central Arkansas. You will lead sales strategies, develop account plans, and provide technical training while collaborating with Rockwell and Crawford teams to maximize share in the region.

The role emphasizes customer-facing leadership, proposal development, and ongoing competency building in automation products and solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent.
• 5 years' experience with Rockwell Automation products or similar solutions.
• Ability to create professional proposals from customer specs.
• Strong written and verbal English; Spanish helpful.
• Professional selling skills and market planning ability.
• Willing to continuously learn and improve technical competency.

Responsibilities

• Articulate value of Rockwell Automation portfolio using outcome-based selling.
• Lead portfolio offerings and drive business growth in assigned geography.
• Input to annual planning, forecasting, and strategic growth.
• Lead commercial introductions of new products and services with targets.
• Provide technical training to distributor account managers.
• Collaborate with Crawford and Rockwell teams to sell core products.
• Travel within geography up to two weeks annually.
