Crawford Electric Supply in Tulsa, OK is seeking an Automation Sales Specialist – End User to build and grow relationships with industrial End Users, identify automation opportunities, and lead solution-based selling leveraging PLCs, HMIs, drives, and networking.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in automation sales; you will partner with engineering, operations and maintenance teams, stay ahead of industry trends, and help customers improve reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field.
• 5+ years in industrial automation sales or related roles.
• Working knowledge of industrial automation systems and control architecture.
• Strong consultative selling and relationship management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• End User Account Development: Build and grow relationships with industrial End Users by identifying automation opportunities tied to modernization, reliability improvement, and operational efficiency.
• Solution‑Based Selling: Lead the sales process by aligning customer challenges with industrial automation solutions including PLCs, HMIs, drives, motion, safety, and industrial networking.
• Opportunity Identification & Qualification: Identify, qualify, and advance automation opportunities across engineering, operations, maintenance, and capital project stakeholders.
• Sales Team Partnership & Account Support: Collaborate with existing sales representatives to support established End User accounts by delivering automation expertise, assisting with opportunity development, and identifying growth opportunities while maintaining alignment with existing account ownership.
• Customer & Market Insight: Stay informed on industrial trends, customer operational challenges, and competitive alternatives to strengthen solution relevance and value messaging.
