Markent Personnel is seeking an HVAC Account Executive & Estimator for the Greater Madison area. This direct-hire role blends office estimating, client meetings, and active job-site visits in a premier mechanical contracting environment.

You’ll leverage an aggressive, uncapped commission structure with a $150,000–$300,000+ realized earnings potential and enrollment in an ESOP. Expect autonomy and a path to equity through strong project backlogs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC or mechanical contracting experience (estimating/engineering/sales).
• Solid knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork/piping design, and codes.
• Proven track record closing with General Contractors and facility owners.
• Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple high-stakes bids.
• Resident within 45-minute commute of Greater Madison, WI, with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Build long-term relationships with GC, developers, and facility directors to win new construction and high-margin contracts.
• Accurately estimate equipment, labor, materials, and vendor costs for commercial HVAC/piping projects.
• Translate client requirements into high-margin design/build proposals with internal engineering teams.
• Solicit vendor/subcontractor quotes and assemble clear, winning bid packages.
