Job summary

Wausau Supply Company is seeking a Distribution Supervisor to lead a warehouse team in Minnesota. The role focuses on coaching, scheduling, safety, and ensuring timely fulfillment of orders.

You will oversee daily DC activities, coordinate shipping, inbound receiving, and inventory accuracy while driving continuous improvement and staff development. Must have 3–5 years in warehousing and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of Lean process principles and Continuous Improvement methodology.
• 3-5 years warehouse experience.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Develops a successful team through coaching, mentoring, and promoting teamwork. Fosters a spirit of unity among location and employee work areas.
• Maintains time and attendance, and other performance records.
• Evaluates, reports team’s performance and addresses shortfalls to meet corporate, department, and location goals.
• Helps develop and implement strategy to achieve departmental objectives.
• Reviews DC performance in safety, shipping accuracy, efficiency, past due orders, fill rate, and inventory accuracy.
