Job summary

Wausau Supply Company, headquartered in Schofield, Wisconsin, is seeking a Distribution Manager to oversee warehouse operations, lead staff, and ensure safe, efficient material distribution. The role focuses on maintaining safety practices, optimizing routes and staffing, and coordinating cross-departmental efforts to meet customer commitments.

You will drive performance reviews and process improvements in a dynamic ESOP environment.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Management, or Finance required or equivalent experience.
• 5–10+ years in manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling roles.
• 3–5+ years of leadership/supervisory experience in a distribution or warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse office and staff; maintain safety, facility, and equipment.
• Ensure on-time, accurate distribution of materials and adherence to schedules.
• Utilize reports to guide staffing, routes, and operational decisions.
• Coordinate with Transportation, Purchasing, Customer Service, Sales, Credit, and other warehouses to meet commitments.
• Conduct monthly and yearly employee performance reviews.
