Job summary

Wausau Supply Company, a 100% employee-owned building materials distributor, seeks a Distribution Manager to oversee warehouse operations, safety and staff. You will maintain safe procedures, manage facilities and ensure timely, accurate distribution of materials to retailers nationwide.

You will lead daily communications with staff, review routes and performance, and collaborate with Purchasing, Customer Service, Sales, and other warehouses to meet customer commitments and drive continuous

Demonstrated ability to lead safety initiatives in a warehouse environment.
Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across departments.
Ability to work independently and demonstrate leadership with teamwork.

Responsibilities

Oversee warehouse office and staff and ensure safety procedures.
Maintain facility and equipment to ensure quality material distribution.
Distribute building materials on a predictable schedule to meet customer needs.
Communicate daily with workers to hit daily objectives.
Review routes, staffing, and performance reports to optimize operations.
Coordinate with Purchasing, Customer Service, Sales, and Warehouses to satisfy customer commitments.
