Wausau Supply Company is seeking a Distribution Manager to oversee the warehouse office and staff, ensuring safety procedures, proper facility maintenance, and reliable distribution of materials. You’ll manage daily operations, coordinate with distribution leadership, and uphold customer commitments.

The role emphasizes leadership, safety, and process improvement across the distribution network, with a focus on meeting schedule and quality standards in a multi-site environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in warehouse leadership or distribution environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily communication with workers to ensure daily objectives are met in a timely manner.
• Use current reports to make management decisions and adjust staff and routes.
• Oversee warehouse productivity including orders shipped and errors.
• Oversee inbound materials receiving and storage for the picking crew.
• Ensure daily orders are routed and shipped; review routes with leadership.
• Maintain safety procedures and a clean working environment.
• Oversee maintenance of equipment, buildings and grounds.
• Lead periodic performance reviews and coordinate with regional leadership.
