Motion in Minneapolis, MN, seeks a Distribution Center Inbound Operations Supervisor to lead receiving, stocking and put-away processes. You will design efficient methods to ensure loads are scheduled and received on time and that paperwork is reconciled, OS&Ds filed, and sellable parts stocked.

You will coach teams, enforce safety and security rules, and drive continuous improvements while aligning with budget goals and Lean principles.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; related distribution center experience preferred.
• 1+ years’ experience in a distribution center or similar environment.
• Ability to follow safety requirements and maintain a safe work environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop cooperative relationships.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail; use sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inbound operations including receiving, stocking and put-away activities.
• Design efficient processes for scheduling, unloading, and inventory reconciliation.
• Coach and develop warehouse associates; drive engagement and problem-solving.
• Investigate and resolve receiving errors; implement cost-saving improvements.
• Schedule shifts to cover peak periods and ensure accuracy of receipts.
