Job summary

Genesee Intermediate School District (GISD) is seeking an ELD Teacher to support Multilingual Learners in collaboration with ESOL staff. You will deliver targeted English language development to K-12 ML students in small groups or individually, improving language proficiency and access to content.

You will lead instructional practices with ESOL Facilitators to provide feedback and elevate students’ English language development.

Qualifications

• Valid Michigan teaching certificate with ESL or Bilingual endorsement.
• Minimum of two years' experience with Multilingual Learners preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, targeted English language development to K-12 ML in small groups or one-on-one.
• Lead and model instructional practices with ESOL staff to improve students' language development and content access.
