Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
Hold a valid Massachusetts Teaching License in ESL at the appropriate grade level.
Hold a valid Massachusetts Teaching License in Moderate Disabilities at the appropriate grade level.
Current authorization to work in the United States by start date.
Experience teaching in an urban setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Teach English as a Second Language to Multilingual Learners identified as English Learners.
Collaborate with content teachers to align language development with the curriculum.
Collaborate with instructional leaders to ensure language support and academic assistance.
Assist with ACCESS administration and ELL transitions.
Plan and deliver lessons aligned to WIDA standards and IEP goals for students with disabilities.
