Qualifications

• Requires Massachusetts teaching credential with ESL endorsement.

• Ability to plan standards-aligned lessons and monitor student progress.

Responsibilities

• Teach ESL to multilingual learners (ELLs).
• Collaborate with content teachers to align language development with curricula.
• Assist with ACCESS administration and ELL student transitions.
• Plan lessons per WIDA standards and differentiate by proficiency.
• Incorporate technology for instruction and student productivity.
• Attend professional development on ELL instruction and teaching strategies.
• Support with district/state assessments for ELL students.
