Job summary

WestStar Bank is seeking a Loan Servicing Specialist II to manage escrow accounts, oversee property tax and insurance disbursements, and support loan operations with accuracy and efficiency.

You will coordinate with lenders, title companies, and customers to resolve escrow issues and ensure compliant servicing activities, while maintaining detailed records and responding to inquiries in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in banking, financial services, or a related field; prior loan account servicing experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of escrow accounts, property taxes and loan servicing practices preferred.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and problem - solving ability.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional departments.
• Experience with Microsoft programs, Bank core systems and loan servicing platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer escrow accounts for property taxes, insurance, and other approved escrow items.
• Monitor escrow balances to ensure sufficient funds for scheduled disbursements and process payments accurately.
• Conduct escrow analyses and resolve discrepancies and exceptions.
• Prepare escrow-related correspondence and notices to borrowers.
• Process full and partial loan payoffs accurately and within service standards.
• Verify payoff amounts, accrued interest, fees, and other charges.
• Serve as backup for loan servicing functions including payment processing and collateral maintenance.
