Job summary

WestStar is seeking a Loan Servicing Specialist II to administer escrow accounts, monitor property taxes and insurance disbursements, and process loan payoffs in a timely and compliant manner. The role requires 1-2 years of banking or financial services experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with lenders, tax authorities, and internal teams.

You'll maintain accurate records, resolve discrepancies, and support other Loan Operations

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in banking, financial services, or a related field; prior loan account servicing experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of escrow accounts, property taxes and loan servicing practices preferred.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional departments.
• Experience with Microsoft programs, Bank core systems and loan servicing platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer escrow accounts, including tax and insurance disbursements and loan maintenance.
• Process full and partial loan payoffs accurately and within service standards.
• Verify payoff amounts, accrued interest, fees, escrow balances and other charges.
• Prepare payoff statements and process escrow refunds.
• Maintain records and resolve escrow discrepancies; coordinate with lenders and tax authorities.
• Provide backup support for loan servicing functions and other Loan Operations tasks.
