Municipal Credit Union is hiring an Escrow Servicing Specialist in New York. This role handles escrow administration for member, residential mortgage, and home equity loans under limited supervision, ensuring timely tax and insurance escrow payments and accurate escrow analyses.

The position requires the ability to research complex issues, maintain written procedures, and coordinate with third‑party servicers while staying compliant with state and federal regulations.

Competenze

• Associates preferred; high school required.
• Knowledge of Harland Loan Servicing or similar servicing system is a plus.
• Strong reading skills to review complex documents, procedures, and regulations.
• Ability to work independently in a multi‑tasking environment and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Mansioni

• Assist in accurate and timely payment of real estate tax escrowed items.
• Setup contracts with CoreLogic for tax bill reporting accuracy.
• Monitor outsourced vendor for timely insurance escrow payments.
• Maintain accurate records including upcoming bills and quarterly tax amounts.
• Complete scheduled escrow account analyses per regulations and investor requirements.
• Ensure escrow information with third‑party servicer aligns with bank policies and regulations.
• Handle delinquent real estate taxes and escrow items promptly.
• Respond to member inquiries related to escrow items and keep procedures updated.
