Job summary

Municipal Credit Union in New York is seeking an Assistant Manager for Residential Loan Servicing. This role leads daily mortgage servicing operations, ensures accuracy and regulatory compliance, and supports process improvements across the department.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s in business or finance and 5+ years in mortgage servicing with leadership experience. Hybrid work arrangement and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent).
• 5+ years in mortgage servicing with supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of NCUA and NY DFS regulations and mortgage servicing laws.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Residential Loan Servicing staff to meet service levels and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee daily workloads, coverage, and timely resolution of servicing activities.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and controls.
• Perform quality control reviews of servicing transactions and notices.
• Approve servicing transactions within authority limits.
• Oversee E-OSCAR dispute resolution and ensure timely research and resolution.
• Monitor file maintenance, QC findings, and corrective actions.
• Oversee loan onboarding, servicing data validation, and onboarding accuracy.
• Provide oversight of payment processing, investor reporting, and loss mitigation.
• Support audits, regulatory reviews, and corrective actions.
