Job summary

Proctor Loan Protector is seeking a Check Resolution Associate in the Lender Solutions department. This role tracks incoming refund and returned checks for escrow, sorts items for processing, and mails checks to clients, carriers, or borrowers.

Daily production reports are prepared for management, and additional research may be required as needed. The position requires strong planning, attention to detail, and solid MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent attendance and no prior disciplinary actions.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Ability to work holidays and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform internal audits to ensure accuracy of work.
• Review checks to determine the receiving department.
• Note IIM and client system as needed.
• Mail checks to correct addresses and to clients for escrow deposits.
• Rush payments to carriers when policy may be cancelled.
• Follow up on outstanding checks and coordinate with other units.
