Job summary

Independence Title, in the Austin area, Texas, is seeking an Experienced Escrow Assistant to support residential real estate transactions. You will coordinate the collection of information, manage A to Z escrow processing, and assist with CD/HUD preparation, contracts review, and post-closing tasks.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of escrow experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; RamQuest is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of escrow experience (front-end and back-end).
• Experience with RamQuest preferred, but not required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook; comfortable with technology in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the collection of information to finalize a home sale.
• Perform A to Z escrow processing: frontend, curative for Schedule C, working up CDs/HUDs, and post-closing/funding tasks.
• Review contracts and commitments as part of the escrow process.
• Communicate professionally with customers and co-workers, verbally and in writing.
