Independence Title in the Austin area is seeking Escrow Assistants of various experience levels for multiple Austin offices. The role involves coordinating information to finalize home sales, handling both front-end processing and post-closing tasks, and reading contracts to prepare closing documents.

A strong customer service mindset and professional conduct are required. Qualifications include a high school diploma and at least 3 years of escrow experience; RamQuest experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of escrow experience.
• Experience with RamQuest is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail, well organized, and customer-oriented with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate collection of information to finalize a home sale.
• Handle front end processing and post-closing/funding tasks as required.
• Read contracts, commitments and orders for closing and assemble necessary documents.
• Maintain files, record documentation, send checks after closing, and transmit documents to lender.
• Provide excellent customer service to external customers and coworkers.
