Newrez is seeking an Escrow Analysis Specialist I to review and complete escrow analyses for RESPA-compliant loans, including non-escrow loans with negative escrow advances. This role requires accurate documentation and adherence to regulatory guidelines in a fast-paced mortgage servicing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1+ years residential mortgage loan servicing experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily escrow analysis via task work queue and monthly bulk processing for the portfolio.
• Research illogical collection amounts, due dates, or large changes in payment to ensure loans are compliant with RESPA regulations.
• Solve problems rapidly and cost-effectively with minimal disruption.
• Ensure accounts are properly documented with accurate and comprehensive status updates.
• Process requests received from the mortgage holder, clients, or other departments.
• Maintain consistent attendance to ensure fulfillment of essential duties and responsibilities.
• Ability to effectively and accurately convey information to others.
• Performs related duties as assigned by management.
