• Document accounts with status updates and communicate findings.
• Process requests from the mortgage holder, clients, or other departments.
• Maintain consistent attendance and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Convey information clearly to others and work independently or as a team member.
• Support management with additional duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Escrow Analysis Specialist I will be responsible for reviewing and completing escrow analysis in accordance with RESPA (Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act) for all escrow loans and non-escrow loans with negative escrow advances. Perform all duties in accordance with the company guidelines, applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

DESCRIPTION

Perform daily escrow analysis via task work queue and monthly bulk processing for the portfolio. Research illogical collection amounts, due dates, or large changes in payment to ensure loans are compliant with RESPA regulations. Solve problems rapidly and cost-effectively with minimal disruption. Ensure accounts are properly documented with accurate and comprehensive status updates. Process requests received from the mortgage holder, clients, or other departments. Maintain consistent attendance to ensure fulfillment of essential duties and responsibilities. Ability to effectively and accurately convey information to others. Performs related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent, required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of 1+ years residential mortgage loan servicing experience.

Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge

Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook). Detail oriented with excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Possess excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Proven ability to work well both independently and as a team member. Ability to make sound decisions based upon department, company policies, procedures, knowledge, and experience. OnBase imaging system experience a plus. Knowledge of SQL a plus. Flexible to changing priorities, project scopes, and deadlines.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

Working on-site at assigned office location. Regular and punctual attendance adhering to schedule established by leadership. Flexibility to work occasional adjusted work schedules, overtime, and evening and/or weekend hours to meet deadlines or as business needs demand. Working in a cubicle hub, maintaining focus on phone calls in a noisy environment within earshot of multiple other conversations. Sedentary work in a stationary position at a cubicle for prolonged periods of time. Constant repetitive motions required for operating a computer, such as typing and managing phone calls. Constantly communicating effectively verbally in English, including accurately exchanging information with others following identification of correct procedures.
