Job summary

Newrez LLC is seeking an Escrow Analysis Specialist I to review and complete escrow analyses in accordance with RESPA for both escrow and non-escrow loans with negative escrow advances. The role emphasizes accuracy, timely processing, and compliance with federal and state regulations.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with a bachelor's degree preferred, and 1+ years of mortgage loan servicing experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1+ years residential mortgage loan servicing experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Detail oriented with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• OnBase imaging system experience a plus.
• Knowledge of SQL a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily escrow analysis via task work queue and monthly bulk processing.
• Research illogical collection amounts, due dates, or large changes in payment to ensure RESPA compliance.
• Document accounts with status updates and communicate findings.
• Process requests from the mortgage holder, clients, or other departments.
• Maintain consistent attendance and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Convey information clearly to others and work independently or as a team member.
• Support management with additional duties as assigned.
