Job summary

Gartner is seeking an experienced Director to lead ERP strategy, research, and client engagements from a remote U.S. basis. The role focuses on delivering must-have insights, guiding ERP-related decisions, and producing actionable papers and presentations.

You will collaborate across teams, mentor colleagues, and travel up to 25% to client sites and events as needed. A strong background in ERP, cloud applications, and executive-facing communications is essential.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in IT with ERP focus and strategy
• Experience implementing cloud apps from major vendors
• Ability to engage technology executives and present clearly
• Strong research, writing and presentation skills
• Willingness to travel up to 25%

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-impact insights to guide clients and their organizations
• Conduct market trend research and client-focused market positioning
• De-construct complex questions to identify root causes and drive strategy
• Create clear, actionable research papers, presentations and videos
• Present insights in virtual and in-person client interactions and Gartner events
• Collaborate with research communities and peers to develop consensus positions
• Support internal stakeholders to advance client priorities and growth
