Job summary

Gartner, Inc. is seeking an Engagement Manager to lead consulting engagements, manage teams, and design project roadmaps in ERP cloud environments (Oracle, Workday, SAP). You will oversee budgets, deliverables, and client relationships with senior leadership, applying AI insights to drive value.

This role requires 5+ years in ERP Cloud consulting and a proven track record delivering complex government and enterprise programs.

Qualifications

MBA or advanced degree preferred.
5+ years ERP Cloud Consulting experience (Oracle, Workday, or SAP).
Understanding of finance business capabilities.
Experience in a top management consultancy in project delivery; sales a plus.
Experience solving problems at workstream level.
Experience with multiple IT/Technology solutions.
Experience with State and Local Government clients.
Proven leadership of high-performing teams leveraging technology.
Ability to inspire across technical and non-technical teams.
Commitment to team success with constructive action when needed.
Curiosity and ability to adapt Gartner methodologies to client challenges.
Hands-on, able to manage multiple client priorities.

Responsibilities

Overseeing consulting engagements, budgeting, scoping, and designing project roadmaps to ensure deliverables align with timelines and statement of work objectives.
Creating high-quality project work-products/deliverables such as slide decks/presentations, technical or business documents (manuals, requirements), and quantitative models.
Building credibility with client management-level staff, setting the standard for engagement teams, and proactively managing client expectations of engagement scope.
Developing engagement hypotheses based on client context, identifying problem-solving techniques, and training others on these techniques.
Providing timely, constructive feedback on projects and proactively engaging in formal and informal feedback/coaching.
Leveraging knowledge of AI to identify opportunities for its application in client projects, enhancing effectiveness and efficiency.
Assisting in client interviews and workshops (facilitation/content).
Meeting utilization and sales targets.
Participating in hiring new associates.
Mentoring junior associates and guiding them in project delivery.
