Job summary

Sypris Electronics, LLC is seeking an Order Entry Clerk to accurately input purchase orders and customer returns in the ERP system and support internal and external stakeholders with order-related information.

The role collaborates with Program Management, Contract Managers, and Accounting to ensure Sales Orders align with Purchase Orders, and emphasizes accuracy, customer service, and cross-functional coordination. A government clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; associates degree or higher preferred.
• Strong computer skills with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; ERP experience preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong analytical, organizational and independent problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, verbal and written communications.
• Ability to interact with all levels of the organization including managers.
• Ability to obtain government clearance, if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Process and enter purchase orders and customer returns promptly and accurately
• Maintain precise records of all transactions
• Provide customers with information to initiate the Customer Authorization Return process
• Assist internal stakeholders with inquiries related to data entered in Plex
• Collaborate with Program Management, Contract Managers, and Accounting to ensure Sales Orders align with Purchase Orders
• Foster strong working relationships both internally and externally
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate person
