Job summary

Sypris Electronics, LLC is seeking an Order Entry Clerk to accurately enter purchase orders and customer returns into the ERP system and support stakeholders with order-related information. You will process and enter orders promptly, maintain precise records, assist with Customer Authorization Return processes, and coordinate with Program Management, Contract Managers, and Accounting to ensure alignment between Sales Orders and Purchases.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; Associates degree or higher preferred.
• Strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP applications.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and independent problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, verbal, and written communications skills.
• Ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization to include managers, co-workers, and external partners.
• Ability to obtain a government clearance, if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Process and enter purchase orders and customer returns promptly and accurately.
• Maintain precise records of all transactions.
• Provide customers with information to initiate the Customer Authorization Return process.
• Assist internal stakeholders with inquiries related to data entered in Plex.
• Collaborate with Program Management, Contract Managers, and Accounting to ensure Sales Orders align with Purchase Orders.
• Foster strong working relationships both internally and externally.
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate person.
