Job summary

Marvin is seeking a Senior Engineer EPT to help define, develop, and implement future-state ERP operating models for manufacturing. This role partners across operations, engineering, IT, and business teams to translate shop-floor needs into practical process and system solutions from production picking through fabrication, assembly, material movement, quality, labor, training, and final packaging.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Business, or related field preferred.
• Five or more years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, operations, continuous improvement, systems implementation, or related process improvement work preferred.
• Experience with production process design, material flow, information flow, and continuous improvement concepts preferred.
• Experience supporting ERP, MES, or other manufacturing technology implementations preferred; D365 experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Define detailed business processes and requirements for ERP manufacturing functionality (picking, fabrication, assembly, material movement, quality, labor, packaging).
• Lead cross-functional requirements gathering using interviews, workshops, value stream mapping and shop-floor observation.
• Translate manufacturing needs into clear business requirements, process flows, user experience expectations, test scenarios, training needs, and governance standards.
• Partner with operations, engineering, IT, and site stakeholders to align future-state processes with practical production requirements and lean practices.
• Guide workstation and production execution design needs (operator interfaces, material visibility, pick lists, work order status, displays, and workflow).
• Identify constraints, part re-ordering, labor distribution, training tracking, and production visibility requirements.
• Use structured problem-solving to define root causes, gaps, and recommend system-enabled improvements.
• Lead project activities, assign follow-up actions, coordinate resources, and drive deliverables to completion.
• Willingness to travel up to 25–50% for site engagement, process discovery, implementation, and training.
