Job summary

CORE Group seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to establish and lead manufacturing engineering processes for a growing energy and power systems manufacturer. You will translate designs into safe, efficient, repeatable operations, develop standards, routings, and labor standards, and drive continuous improvement on the production floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 5+ years in manufacturing or process engineering.
• Experience developing routings, work instructions, labor standards, tooling.
• Background in complex electrical/industrial automation/manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP or MES systems.
• Proven cross-functional project leadership.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Lean manufacturing and root-cause analysis knowledge.
• Ability to work on active production floor.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain manufacturing processes, routings, standard work, assembly procedures, and visual work instructions.
• Translate designs and BOMs into production-ready processes.
• Evaluate tooling, fixtures, equipment, layouts, and material presentation.
• Establish documentation standards, revision controls, and governance.
• Set up work centers, labor standards, cycle times, capacity models, and production requirements.
• Conduct cycle-time, throughput, line-balancing, and bottleneck analyses.
• Improve production flow, layouts, material movement, and inventory control.
• Lead RMIs for ERP, MES, and digital shop-floor implementations.
