Job summary

Global Power Components is seeking a hands-on Senior Manufacturing Engineer to support production in our Milwaukee, WI facility. The role focuses on production support, process optimization, routing accuracy, labor efficiency, and ERP-driven manufacturing processes in an engineered-to-order environment.

The ideal candidate has 5–15 years of experience in manufacturing engineering and strong Epicor ERP skills to drive discipline, data accuracy, and scalable operations across Engineering,

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/ Manufacturing/ Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 5-15 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience in a production environment.
• Hands-on Epicor ERP experience (routing creation, BOMs, job methods, costing, etc.).
• Experience in metal fabrication, welding, heavy equipment, or engineered-to-order manufacturing is highly preferred.
• Strong ability to read technical drawings and customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day engineering support for fabrication, welding, paint, assembly, and final integration operations.
• Translate customer drawings, specifications, and engineered designs into manufacturing plans and routings.
• Develop and maintain bills of materials, labor standards, routings, and work instructions within Epicor ERP.
• Optimize manufacturing processes to improve throughput, reduce waste, and increase quality and on-time delivery.
• Audit ERP data integrity related to jobs, methods, materials, and production costing.
• Support new product introductions, custom orders, and engineering changes from release through production.
