Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking an instructional designer to drive ERP transformation training across US locations. You will partner with cross-functional teams to map training needs to a single ERP platform.

The role emphasizes content creation, needs analysis, and evaluating training effectiveness while ensuring user adoption during the system-wide upgrade. Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
• 2+ years relevant work experience.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Understanding of ERP’s and how they interact with business processes.
• Experience with instructional design and training delivery.

Responsibilities

• Updates training content and supports mapping out training plans and reporting.
• Researches potential materials to best meet the needs of the team.
• Collaborates with trainers and instructional designers to create training deliverables and course content.
• Documents job aids, training reviews, updates, and assessments.
• Performs needs analysis for training and documentation needed to be developed or purchased for internally developed or third-party solutions.
• Receives and shares feedback from clients in a continual effort to improve the overall user learning experience.
• Analyzes the effectiveness of program leveraging a variety of data.
• Provides input on documentation of training programs, curriculum, and outcome objectives.
• Ensures feedback is incorporated into the design, development or facilitation of future programs.
