Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking a training materials designer to drive the shift from older ERP systems to a single, integrated platform across locations.

You will design and deliver complex training materials, tailor content to business needs, monitor outcomes, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to close gaps.

This role emphasizes instructional excellence, documentation, and serving as a technical resource to ensure successful ERP adoption and ongoing value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
• 4+ years relevant work experience.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Understanding of ERP’s and integrations with business processes

Responsibilities

• Designs and delivers complex technical training materials on a wide range of solutions areas/ technologies.
• Utilizes approved materials, designs custom training materials as required that are utilized as templates/ best practice by team.
• Utilizes knowledge of training methodologies to plan and facilitates development of training solutions that drive business outcomes.
• Monitor and document user outcomes, needs assessment and learning objectives.
• Collaborates with cross functional stakeholders to understand to examine existing software and system training materials, identify gaps and develop an organized approach to development of training resources.
• Conducts analyses on program effectiveness, reporting to team or area business leaders on results.
• Provides input on documentation of programs, curriculum, and outcome objectives; provides oversight and guidance to less experienced team members.
• Serves as a technical resource.
