ERP Business Analyst - Remote (With some travel to Texas)
Are you an experienced ERP Business Analyst who enjoys solving business challenges, improving processes, and bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams?
We're looking for a functional NetSuite BA to support Finance and Operations, manage system support requests, and drive enhancements within a highly customised NetSuite environment.
Remote (With some travel to Texas occassionally)
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and resolve NetSuite support tickets, identifying root causes and recommending solutions.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into clear functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with Finance, Operations, and technical developers to deliver system enhancements.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), coordinate business sign-off, and support controlled releases.
- Support Order to Cash (O2C) and Procure to Pay (P2P) processes, including invoicing, purchasing, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger activities.
- Configure and maintain NetSuite workflows, custom fields, records, roles, and permissions.
- Develop advanced saved searches, reports, dashboards, and exception reporting.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, data quality, and operational efficiency.
What a normal week looks like
- Most of the time goes to support-driven work: triaging NetSuite tickets, finding root cause, deciding whether it needs a configuration change, a data fix, or a ticket to the developer. Plan on a majority (roughly half to three quarters) of the week being ticket and support driven, with the rest on enhancements and process improvement.
- About a quarter to a third of the day is meetings, mostly with Finance on US hours, plus team stand-ups.
- Writing functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for the developer. Running UAT in sandbox and coordinating business sign-off.
- Order to Cash and Procure to Pay support across sales orders, fulfillment, invoicing, cash application, requisitions, purchase orders, receipts, vendor bills, and three-way match, and how each lands in the general ledger.
- Configuration work in a heavily customized NetSuite environment: custom records and fields, forms, roles and permissions, workflows.
- Saved searches, reports, dashboards, and exception reporting that catch data problems before month-end.
- Documentation of processes and configuration decisions
What We're Looking
- Strong experience in ERP or business systems analysis, with the majority of that experience in NetSuite.
- Strong experience working within a highly customised NetSuite environment.
- Solid understanding of finance processes, including general ledger, month-end close, revenue recognition, and AP/AR.
- Proven experience with Order to Cash and Procure to Pay workflows.
- Strong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, and functional documentation.
- Advanced NetSuite Saved Searches and basic-to-intermediate SQL skills.
- Experience managing functional testing, UAT, and business sign-off.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience in distribution, supply chain, inventory, or logistics.
- Knowledge of NetSuite lot tracking and costing.
- Familiarity with SuiteFlow, SuiteScript, SuiteAnalytics Workbook, or Power BI.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on functional role focused on ongoing NetSuite support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement, rather than software development. You'll play a key role in helping Finance and Operations get the most out of their ERP platform.
