Job summary

On-Demand Group is seeking a Senior IT Functional Analyst to serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors, supporting ERP and supply chain systems. You will own daily administration, support, and improvement of NetSuite and warehouse management solutions.

You will gather requirements, coordinate projects, manage enhancements, and align solutions with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Gathers requirements, translates needs into system solutions, and supports process improvements.
• Experience supporting NetSuite ERP and ERP systems across functions.

Responsibilities

Job Location: Remote (6 months with potential to extend based on business need)

Position Overview

As a Senior IT Functional Analyst, you will serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to support and enhance critical ERP and supply chain systems. You will own the day-to-day administration, support, and improvement of platforms such as NetSuite and warehouse management solutions while helping drive operational efficiency across the business.

In this role, you will gather business requirements, coordinate projects, manage system enhancements, and ensure solutions align with business objectives and process requirements. You will also play a key role in preparing the organization for future ERP transformation initiatives, including SAP adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary functional owner for ERP and supply chain platforms, including managing product backlogs, support activities, enhancements, and system priorities.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, evaluate business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and translate needs into actionable system solutions.
• Coordinate and support projects through the full lifecycle, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, project milestones, and IT standards.
• Manage relationships with external vendors, including ongoing support, enhancement work, project delivery, issue resolution, and roadmap alignment.
• Support Tier 2 application issues and escalations for ERP and warehouse management platforms, coordinating resolution efforts across internal and external teams.
• Facilitate user acceptance testing, functional testing, and regression testing to validate system changes and ensure successful deployment.
• Coordinate system enhancements, releases, and change activities while communicating impacts, timelines, and expectations to stakeholders.
• Maintain documentation, including business requirements, workflows, user stories, process documentation, release notes, and knowledge base materials.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to optimize end-to-end operational processes across order management, purchasing, inventory, and supply chain functions.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks or issues, and proactively drive resolution to maintain delivery timelines and business objectives.
• Business Acumen: Understand how work impacts financial performance, operational efficiency, and organizational goals, and make decisions with the broader business context in mind.
• Communication: Clearly convey information, ideas, and expectations to diverse audiences, adjusting the message to ensure understanding and alignment.
• Collaboration: Work effectively with others across functions and levels, contributing to shared goals while respecting different perspectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a related role.
• Minimum 1 year of experience supporting or administering NetSuite ERP.
• Experience gathering business requirements, translating business needs into system solutions, and supporting process improvement initiatives.
• Experience supporting ERP systems and business applications within a variety of functional areas.
• Experience coordinating projects, managing priorities, and partnering with cross-functional teams and external vendors to deliver business solutions.
• Knowledge of business process flows across functions such as order management, purchasing, inventory management, warehousing, or financial operations.
• Experience conducting functional testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing, and release validation activities.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting ERP and WMS applications. NetSuite preferred.
• Experience with both order-to-cash and business-to-consumer ecommerce models preferred.
• Past experience in an ERP system transformation and/or multiple stages of a full IT lifecycle.
• Experience with SAP ERP and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• NetSuite professional certifications, such as NetSuite Administrator, SuiteFoundation, or ERP Consultant.

The projected hourly range for this position is $40 to $49.
