Job summary

State of Nevada in Carson City is seeking an IT Business Analyst Supervisor to lead a team of Senior IT Business Analysts supporting agency applications and technology initiatives within the Department of Education. You will assign and review work, set priorities, coach staff, coordinate with vendors, manage requirements gathering, testing, implementation planning, training, and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of applicable experience as described in the job duties with a minimum of one-year supervisory experience preferred and graduation from high school or equivalent education.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of Senior IT Business Analysts.
• Oversee requirements gathering and documentation across projects.
• Coordinate stakeholders and technical resources including vendors and contractors.
• Develop implementation and transition plans and monitor schedules and deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance to contractors and staff and assist in budget planning.
