Job summary

The Nevada Gaming Control Board in Reno is seeking a Senior Application Developer to design, develop, and support both existing systems and new applications under the supervision of the Programming Supervisor or Programming Manager.

You will analyze business processes, gather requirements, design and implement solutions, test thoroughly, and provide ongoing maintenance and support while collaborating with team members and stakeholders in a public-sector environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, software engineering, or related field.
• 3 years’ experience as a software developer using technologies such as Visual Studio, .Net, C#, JavaScript, or SQL.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Senior Application Developer works on all aspects designing, developing, and supporting Nevada Gaming Control Board’s existing systems and new applications.
• Analyze business processes, gather requirements, design and develop creative solutions, test, and provide ongoing support and maintenance.
