Job summary

Milliman, Inc. seeks a Compliance Consultant to advise on ERISA, IRS, and Treasury rules for qualified and nonqualified employee benefit plans. You will draft plan documents, provide regulatory analysis, and supervise our Employee Benefits Compliance team and Research group.

This role requires 10+ years in employee benefits law, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a hybrid office setting, with in-person weekly presence at Milliman offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in business, law, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in employee benefit plans.
• Deep knowledge of ERISA, Internal Revenue Code, and Treasury regulations.
• Experience in law firms, consulting firms, or corporate legal departments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; public speaking experience.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review plan documents and SPDs.
• Advise on nonqualified deferred compensation and health and welfare matters.
• Support correction of plan failures via IRS and DOL programs.
• Provide regulatory research on complex benefits questions.
• Oversee EB Compliance team and Research group.
