Job summary

VEG ER for Pets is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line ER team. You will work on emergencies ranging from minor to complex cases, collaborating with doctors to deliver gold-standard, emotionally intelligent care.

Responsibilities include triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing, while maintaining a steady, compassionate presence for pet parents during their most stressful moments.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in veterinary technology preferred.
• CVT/RVT/LV/ LVMT credential in the practice state required; VTS in ECC or anesthesia is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle front-line emergency cases from triage to discharge.
• Provide nursing care, treatments, and critical care monitoring.
• Assist with anesthesia, diagnostics, and patient stabilization.
• Support families with compassionate communication during stressful moments.
• Utilize advanced techniques and equipment as needed.
