Job summary

VEG is hiring an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join the front lines of care. You’ll handle a wide range of emergencies, triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing while supporting pet parents in stressful moments.

Qualifications

• Experience as a veterinary technician in emergency or specialty medicine preferred.
• Associate's degree or higher in veterinary technology preferred.
• CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT credential in the practice state required; VTS a plus.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients and support their families across triage, treatment, diagnostics, anesthesia, and critical care.
• Provide nursing care, monitoring, and emotional support during emergencies.
• Collaborate with doctors to plan and maintain care flow.
• Perform procedures including IVs, line placements, and basic diagnostics.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized clinical areas.
