Job summary

Angell Animal Medical Center, founded in 1915 and part of the MSPCA, is seeking an experienced veterinary technician to join our ER Communication Center as an ER Technical Liaison. This full-time role requires about 4 years of veterinary emergency and customer service experience with a CVT credential.

Schedule is 40 hours on a first shift, with Sunday–Wednesday or Wednesday–Saturday rotations; remote work is allowed with intermittent onsite training in Boston.

Qualifications

• CVT required with veterinary emergency experience.
• Approximately 4 years in an ER setting is a plus.
• Associates degree or higher; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong communication and triage skills, with empathy.

Responsibilities

• Triage calls and advise on ER, Urgent Care, or Specialty services.
• Collaborate with ER veterinary staff to determine best course of care.
• Represent the organization with compassionate, accurate client guidance.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure timely responses.
