Job summary

MSPCA-Angell West in Waltham is seeking experienced veterinary assistants or technicians for our ECC service. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a 2:30pm–1am shift and a 4-day work week including rotating weekends and holidays.

We offer a $10,000 sign-on bonus for credentialed veterinary technicians within Massachusetts, competitive hourly pay starting at $24 for assistants or $27 for technicians, plus a comprehensive benefits package and free on-site parking.

Job description

Positions are full time 40 hours a week, Hours are 2:30pm-1am, 4 day work week, rotating weekends and holidays.m $2.50/hr shift differential. Angell West is looking for experienced veterinary assistants or technicians for our ECC service. We have a $10,000 sign on bonus for new hire credentialed veterinary technicians within the state of Massachusetts. This position provides a unique opportunity to practice in an intimate client-focused setting, but with numerous amenities from the larger MSPCA-Angell Boston hospital as support.

Who We Are

MSPCA-Angell West, a non-profit 24-hour emergency and referral satellite hospital in the west suburbs of Boston, was opened in early 2014 by Angell Animal Medical Center. The hospital is over 20,000 square feet and is located 10 miles west of Boston in Waltham.

Compensation

Veterinary Assistants starting $24-$29/hour

Certified Veterinary Technicians starting $27-$33/hr
